A nautical theme this year
Happy Thursday Everyone!
I've been decorating for Christmas and thought I'd share my tree with you. I have used all of my vintage shiny bright ornaments the past two years, but decided to go with a more nautical beachy look this year. What are y'all doing this year?

Our Guest Room
Hi Everyone,
I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving! We spent time here at the beach with lots of family and it was great! It's been so long since my last post, I can't believe how fast time goes by. Anyway, I was looking at some pictures on my phone the other day and came across these pictures of our guest room and thought I would share them with you today.
The vintage look iron bed is filled with lots of comfy linens.
Vintage treasures fill the room.
A few coastal accessories were added too.
There is even a place to hang beach towels and bags. Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by! I'll be talking to you soon:) Debbi

Snowman @ the beach, a cute project to share!
Hi Everyone!
I wanted to share this cute idea that my neighbor, Grace, shared with me. I was telling her I didn't know what I was going to do with all the pumpkins I had around our house after Thanksgiving. She told me that she made a snowman a few years ago with hers. What a great idea! So here is one that me and my oldest daughter made last Saturday.
It was pretty easy to make. We used a can of leftover primer to paint the pumpkins white, then hot glued them together. We used some buttons for the eyes and main body that I had in my craft supplies. Then, we added some colorful polka dot and solid leftover ribbon for the scarf around the neck. We then decided to make a hat out of some fun Lilly fabric leftover from another project(we just hot glued it together). Then, we finished it off with some small white pom pom fringe from my craft supplies. Very simple and fun!
What do you think? We are expecting a mild winter, so this might be our only chance to have a snowman at the beach;)
Merry Christmas!

A new project to share!
Hi!
I have a little project I wanted to share with you before I begin my very busy weekend.
It is a vintage vanity bench I found awhile back. I love the turned legs on it! It was finished in a dark wood stain and I liked it that way but the finish was a little worn. I decided to paint it a teal green and put off covering the top until I found just the right fabric. Well, that happened when a friend offered me the coolest brown and teal octopus fabric!
Isn't it GREAT? I just love it and it was perfect for my vanity bench. After I covered the top this morning I decided to use a little antiquing stain over the teal paint to tone it down a bit. It really made everything come together!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great weekend!

A few new/old items for "@ the beach"
Hi !
I wanted to share a few photos of the things I have found while hunting and have recently added to the shop.
The aqua sofa table and corner shelf are very cool and will probably not be around long!
The french china cabinet is great for storage as it has linen like panels behind the glass (things not so attractive are hidden). The two glass lamps are great beachy colors, one is an aqua and the other a yellow green. The memo board is covered in a nice tight burlap and has a stud trim. It would be great in an office, kitchen or mudroom for all those school reminders. It is that time of year again!
This cabinet is perfect for the bathroom. It has great storage potential for linens as well as all many other things.
I found this vintage scale while I was out hunting Labor Day weekend, it's painted a pretty bluish green. I love the happy green color of the stool! Along with the items I've mentioned so far, I also found some cool vintage planters. a pink milk glass vase, great decorating books. some bangles, beaded bracelets, and a metal starfish.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures! I love it when other bloggers share their cool finds! Have any of you had a chance to hunt over the summer? I'd love to see your finds! Take care and enjoy your weekend:)
